Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the https://milestoursandtravels.co.in website or the https://account.milestoursandtravels.co.in customer portal (collectively, the "Service") operated by Miles Tours and Travels ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1. All bookings made through our website, phone, or WhatsApp are subject to availability and confirmation by Miles Tours and Travels.

1.2. A valid mobile number and email address must be provided at the time of booking. Confirmation details will be sent via SMS and/or email.

1.3. It is your responsibility to provide accurate pickup location, date, and time. Any changes must be communicated at least 2 hours in advance (subject to availability).

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1. All fares displayed on our website are indicative and may vary based on actual distance, time, tolls, parking, and state border taxes.

2.2. The final fare will be calculated as per our corporate rates (available on request) or as agreed at the time of booking.

2.3. We accept payments via cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. For corporate clients, monthly invoicing is available.

2.4. Any additional charges (toll, parking, permit fees) will be payable directly to the driver or added to the final bill.

3. Cancellation and Refund

3.1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time: Full refund (if paid online) or no cancellation fee.

3.2. Cancellations between 12 to 24 hours before pickup: 50% of the estimated fare will be charged.

3.3. Cancellations within 12 hours of pickup or no-show: 100% of the estimated fare will be charged.

3.4. Refunds for online payments will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment source.

4. Driver and Vehicle

4.1. We reserve the right to change the vehicle or driver without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an equivalent or upgraded vehicle will be provided at no extra cost.

4.2. The driver has the right to refuse service if the customer is found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or abusive.

4.3. Customers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period due to negligence or violation of traffic rules.

5. Liability

5.1. Miles Tours and Travels is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from accidents, theft, or natural calamities during the journey.

5.2. Customers are advised to keep their valuables with themselves. We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle.

5.3. In case of mechanical breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle as soon as possible. No refund will be provided for the delay.

6. Customer Accounts and Registration

6.1. To access our customer portal and book rides online, you must create an account at https://account.milestoursandtravels.co.in.

6.2. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

6.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at booking@milestoursandtravels.co.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

6.5. Mobile number verification: All accounts require a verified Indian mobile number (10 digits, starting with 6–9). Verification is done via SMS OTP.

6.6. Email verification: All accounts require a verified email address. Verification is done via email OTP at the time of registration.

7. Third-Party Sign-In (Google & Facebook)

7.1. We offer sign-in via Google (OAuth 2.0) and Facebook Login. By using these methods, you authorize us to receive your basic profile information (name and email address) from the respective provider solely to create or authenticate your Miles account.

7.2. Email lock for social accounts: When you register or sign in using Google or Facebook, the email address provided by that social platform is permanently linked to your Miles account. For security, this email address cannot be changed through self-service. To update a social-linked email, contact our support team with identity verification.

7.3. You acknowledge that your use of Google Sign-In is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Your use of Facebook Login is governed by Facebook's Data Policy.

7.4. We do not receive or store your Google or Facebook password. We only receive the minimum data necessary (name, email) to create and manage your account.

7.5. You may revoke our access to your social account at any time via Google Account Settings or Facebook App Settings. Revoking access will not delete your Miles account but you may lose the ability to sign in via that social provider.

8. Password and Security

8.1. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. We strongly recommend using a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

8.2. Your password is stored in a secure encrypted format (bcrypt hashing). We will never ask for your password via phone, SMS, or email.

8.3. If you forget your password, you can reset it via the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. A secure reset link will be sent to your registered email address, valid for 2 hours.

8.4. For accounts created via social login (Google or Facebook), a separate password may be set from your profile page for alternate login access.

9. Use of Website and Customer Portal

9.1. You agree not to use the website or customer portal for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

9.2. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, other users' accounts, or related networks.

9.3. We may terminate your access to the website without notice for conduct that violates these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The content, logo, and design of this website are the property of Miles Tours and Travels and may not be reproduced without written permission. "Google" and the Google logo are trademarks of Google LLC. "Facebook" and the Facebook logo are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of these names and logos in the context of our social login feature is purely descriptive and does not imply endorsement.

11. Privacy

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including data received through Google and Facebook sign-in.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made.
