Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Miles Tours and Travels, we strive to provide the best service to our customers. However, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms for cancellation and refund of your bookings.
1. Cancellation by Customer
You may cancel your booking through the following channels:

Cancellation charges depend on the time remaining before the scheduled pickup:

Note: Estimated fare is based on the quoted amount at the time of booking, excluding taxes and surcharges.
2. Cancellation by Miles Tours
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or other operational reasons, we will:
- Inform you as soon as possible.
- Provide a full refund (if prepaid) or no cancellation charge (if cash).
- Offer an alternative vehicle if available (at no extra cost).
We are not liable for any consequential losses due to such cancellation.
3. Refund Process
If you are eligible for a refund (for prepaid bookings):
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment source (credit card, UPI, bank account) within 7-10 working days.
- For payments made via cash or directly to the driver, no refund applies (only cancellation fee if applicable).
- In case of partial refund (e.g., 50% cancellation), the amount will be credited after deducting the applicable fee.
Once the refund is initiated, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive the refund within the stipulated time, please contact us.
4. Rescheduling
If you wish to change your booking date or time:
- Changes made more than 12 hours before pickup: No fee (subject to availability).
- Changes within 12 hours of pickup: May incur a rescheduling fee of ₹200-500 depending on vehicle type.
- Any change that results in a higher fare (e.g., longer distance, extra hours) will be charged accordingly.
5. Special Cases
Medical Emergency: If you provide valid proof (hospital admission record, doctor's note) within 7 days, we may waive cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.
Flight Delays: For airport transfers, if your flight is delayed, we will wait free of charge for up to 60 minutes from the revised arrival time. Beyond that, waiting charges may apply.
Bad Weather / Natural Calamities: In case of government‑imposed curfews or extreme weather making travel unsafe, we will offer a full refund or reschedule at no cost.
