The large cantilevered shore-operated nets along the Fort Kochi waterfront. They're more about the look and the history than the fishing now, and a quick photogenic stop.
Mattancherry Palace & Jew Town
The Dutch Palace with its old murals, and the nearby Jew Town with the Paradesi Synagogue and antique shops. Compact, walkable, and a good hour or two of history and browsing.
Santa Cruz Basilica
A colourful old church in Fort Kochi with a painted interior, one of the area's heritage buildings. A short stop, easy to combine with the Fort Kochi walk.
Marine Drive
The waterfront promenade on the mainland Ernakulam side, good for an evening walk with backwater views and the harbour. More local-life than tourist-sight, but pleasant.
